Welcome to PP4PP!

Heather and I are SO excited that you have joined Post-Processing for Pet Photographers. It’s a course filled with everything that you need to know, and nothing that you don’t. All while being focused on the specific needs of editing photographs of furry (or feathery) faces.

I wanted to let you know what happens now….

• You will receive an email from Hair of the Dog Academy with your temporary password.
• Please bookmark the log in page and save your sign-in details. You can change your password to something more memorable once inside the member area.
• Request to join us in the private Facebook page for all PP4PP students. Heather and I will be active in that group so feel free to ask questions and share your challenges and don’t forget to share your wins too!
• Go through the course at your own pace! We know your time is valuable so we created each lesson to be only 3-5 minutes in length, generally. There are a handful that are a bit longer.

While you do have lifetime access to this material, it’s important that you keep taking steps forward. It’s all too easy to let an online course sit and gather dust. Make a commitment to go through one lesson a day, it’s only a few minutes!

The biggest piece of advice for you is to go through the course sequentially, starting with the Lightroom Library Module.

Even if you have been using Lightroom for years, many photographers have not set it up properly and it often leads to headaches down the road. If you watch these videos and realize that your catalog isn’t as organized as it could be, don’t despair….just start anew and bask in your organization!

Training Materials:

PP4PP includes a variety of training materials to help you get the most benefit from the course. You can download all the files directly underneath the welcome video. The downloads include actions for Photoshop and presets for Lightroom, exercise files so you can practice what we are teaching, and keyboard shortcut cheat sheets.  The exercise files are also available individually underneath each applicable lesson.
