How Does the Program Work?
Begins August 1st with immediate access to all 4 ‘Foundation Briefs’.
Shoot at your pace, in any order, every three weeks.
Submit a foundation session for review every 3 weeks.
Receive personalized feedback on your submissions.
Your ‘final project’ is a create your own brief that you will plan and shoot!
We’ll celebrate your success with a wrap-up call in which you could win cold hard cash from your submissions!

What's the difference between the Commercial Portfolio Intensive and the Commercial Pet Photography Academy?
This experience, the Commercial Portfolio Intensive, focuses on the CRAFT of commercial pet photography - with the goal being that you master the art of shooting commercial images and build out an marketable commercial portfolio.
The Commercial Pet Photography Academy focuses on the BUSINESS of commercial photography. How to price, market, and produce commercial shoots. While we talk about what makes a great commercial image - it does not have the accountability or continued 1:1 feedback that this experience holds.
Should I have taken the business-focused Commercial Pet Photography Academy first?
This is really a chicken and the egg situation - and it doesn't matter which comes first! If you go through the Commercial Portfolio Intensive first and build your commercial portfolio - and if you decide you really want to grow the commercial side of your business, you'll likely want to go through the Commercial Pet Photography Academy in the future.
What products/dogs should we use?
Choose the products for your briefs, from dog toys to dog beds, or riding pants to bridles. The skills needed are based on location rather than product, so unleash your creativity! You can use your dog and things around your house or you can reach out to local businesses and offer free or discounted commercial opportunities to them!
How can I take this course for FREE?
I like the way you think! You have several options when shooting for your assignments:
A) Use your own dog and products that you have around your house
B) Offer free sessions as portfolio building sessions
C) Offer a low cost easy-yes promotion so that you can get paid to create your images and essentially take this course for free.

Who will be reviewing my images?
You'll have lots of opportunities to receive 1:1 feedback on your images throughout the program. Each of your foundation briefs will be reviewed by our successful working commercial pet photographers. Your final project, the create your own brief, will be reviewed by Nicole and Nic directly.
As an added bonus, Nicole and Nic will also be giving your feedback on your foundation brief images as a collection if you submit at least 3 of the 4 briefs.
Will we be able to review other’s feedback?
It depends. We believe that seeing the feedback left for others allows for an incredible learning experience for everyone - but we also understand that some people would prefer to get their feedback completely privately. So when you enroll you have a choice: keep your feedback private, but you will not be able to view the feedback of everyone else OR allow others to review your feedback but you’ll also be able to review the feedback of everyone else!
Listen, there’s nothing to fear here. We approach feedback from a supportive and constructive manner and no one is going to be ripping your work down publicly. 😉
