I give Jes’ Calendar Course 5 stars! For three consecutive years, I have followed the essential plan and used the recommended websites for a photo calendar contest fundraiser for the shelter for which I do adoption photos. Each year, we’ve made at least $13k – our highest mark was $17k! And these amounts were from a restricted target audience of shelter alumni…just think what you might do with a broader participation!
Using tips from this course, I outlined a complete plan for the shelter staff, wrote the contest copy, and suggested ideas for enhancing donation opportunities. The shelter was easily able to set everything up and run the contest. I took all the photos and helped design the calendar on the calendar site – final results were a hit!
